Killer

Objective

Each player starts the game with zero lives. Get three lives by scoring three hits on your assigned number (a double and triple count as 2 and 3 hits respectively) becomes a killer. A player may never have more than 3 lives, but at three lives they are a killer. Once you are a killer (and only while a killer) you may reduce lives against a player by scoring hits on their numbers. It takes 4 hits to kill a player that is a killer. A player is dead the moment the live scores goes below zero, but still lives at zero lives.

Game Setup

  1. Select players.
  2. Have each player throw at the board with their non-dominant hand (i.e. a left-handed player throws with their right hand and vice versa)
  3. Scoring, in the number selection phase, hit a double or triple area still counts as selecting the base number.
  4. When all players have a unique number assigned then the game may start.

Game Play

  1. Play order is by lowest to highest number with bullseye going last.
  2. Hit your number 3 times to become a “Killer”.
  3. On the first round of play you may not strike kills against any other players to give the last players a chance to get some lives.
  4. After the first round of playt if you’re a Killer, hit other players’ target numbers to take their lives.
  5. If you’re not a killer, continue to score lives until you have three. If you have darts remaining during a turn (after the first turn) you are a killer and may score against other players lives.
  6. The last player with lives remaining wins.
