Sunshine Darts isn’t just an app; it’s a project born out of a real need on the dartboard.

Our Story

It all started at Sunshine Pizzeria in Antigua Guatemala. As a local dart team, we spent more time wrestling with over-complicated scoring apps or searching for a piece of chalk than actually throwing darts. The apps we found were either full of intrusive ads, required unnecessary accounts, or were just too slow to use during a heated match.

We decided to build our own. We wanted something that reflected the spirit of our games: fast, focused, and friendly. What started as a simple tool for our team grew into a polished utility that we wanted to share with the global dart community.

Our Philosophy

1. Speed & Simplicity

A scoreboard should never get in the way of the game. Our interface is designed to minimize taps so you can focus on your throw. We prioritize a “zero configuration” start, so you’re ready to play the moment you open the app.

2. Privacy by Design

We believe your data belongs to you. Sunshine Darts does not use cloud storage, does not require a login, and does not track your behavior. Your game history and player profiles are stored exclusively on your device. We don’t want your data; we just want you to hit your targets.

3. Pure Experience

Sunshine Darts is, and will always be, 100% ad-free. We believe a competitive match requires focus, and there is no room for flashing banners or video interruptions in a game of darts.

4. Community Driven

While we built this for the team at Sunshine Pizzeria, we’ve added features like Nearby Multiplayer and Google Cast support because we know that darts is a social sport. We listen to our users and constantly refine the app based on how people actually play.
